Burgundy, like all of the other key wine producing regions of France, has enjoyed a period of great prosperity in recent years. A string of successful vintages throughout the late nineties and into the new millennium coupled with quality winemaking techniques, ensures that constantly good wines are being produced year on year in this great and classic region.

With well over 25,000 different growers operating within the Cote d'Or, it is no wonder this is easily the most intriguing wine region in the world. True to Terroir, these wines are not for those seeking flamboyance, but instead are wines that unfurl their charm over time. These are academic wines of complexity and character.
